Half Day Build Your Own Tour

Service Description

We understand the appeal of a route you've helped create—that's why we offer the "Build Your Own" option. You choose what you want to ride: Gravel? MTB? Flow trails? The choice is yours! After booking your tour, you'll receive an email with a form to fill out. We'll use your answers to design a route thats exactly what you are looking for. Bike Rentals: If you plan to rent a bike, be sure to do so with Riders Outpost in advance. This ensures you get the correct bike on the day of your tour. You can find the rental page on our website under the "RIDE" menu. Before the Tour: Review the packing list below and reach out if you have any questions. What to Bring: Supportive shoes (running shoes or similar) Water bottle (enough for a day in the woods) Snacks (Don't BONK!) Sunscreen (It gets hot in the summer) Swimsuit & towel (most rides end at a swimming hole) On the Day: When you arrive at Madbush, head upstairs to the restaurant and bar. Let a staff member know you're here for a bike tour, and they’ll direct you accordingly. If you're renting bikes, Riders Outpost is a great place to start. Their team will fit you to your rental and provide a helmet. Getting to the Trails: Most of our routes require a short drive to ensure the best possible experience. We’ll handle transporting your bikes to and from the trails. You’ll be given the start point address and can either meet your guide there or follow them as we transport the bikes. On the Ride: Your guide will lead the way, stopping at all intersections. They’ll also bring a local treat for you to enjoy along the route. Feel free to ask them about the local area and things to do. After the Ride: The perfect end to a ride is a dip in one of Vermont's many swimming holes. If that interests you, your guide will happily provide directions. While you swim, grab a snack, or enjoy a creemee, we’ll ensure the bikes are safely returned to Madbush.
